Tax is a liver chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail. He was sired by Final's Goldwell out of Genius Star Lite, a young 23 year old mare by Pride's Genius. Pedigree-wise, this is an awesome colt out of two outstanding, old time walking horses. There are not too many of these bloodlines this close around anymore. He was born on Tax day. Tax has started his round pen training and learned quite fast and is very willing to please, he retains his lessons well.

An examination of the extended pedigrees of Final's Goldwell and Genius Star Lite further defines the quality of Goldwell's Tax Genius's bloodlines.  The analyses reveal that the amount of genetic input from Midnight Sun is greater than that of a grandsire, and that the degrees of Roan Allen F-38, Pride of Midnight HF and Wilson's Allen blood are equivalent to that of a grandsire.
